Crayola crayons are inexpensive, non-toxic, very accessible, and easy to use. These crayons would be perfect to use with younger children who are beginning to learn to explore and draw. For older students above elementary, I think these crayons would be limiting because it is hard to get line quality. These crayons are able to create some variation in lightness and darkness but are overall very basic. I would be very comfortable introducing crayola crayons to any classroom. There are hundreds of colors to choose from and would allow students to experiment with color.
