Expressionist Cray-Pas are non-toxic and formulated with extra-fine quality pigments, waxes, and oils. Junior Artist Cray-Pas are also available. Cray-Pas is crayon-like and has a very creamy, smooth texture. It is has high pigmentation and is able to create a wide variety of effects. Cray-Pas is great for blending, stippling, and creating bold lines. I think cray-pas is great for any age because it is easy to use but also able to achieve high quality work. I would be very comfortable to introduce cray-pas to any classroom.
